1. Yes Most of the sites are scams. What they do is tell you that they will give you money to sign up then tell you that you have to make $100 to cash out then when you finally make it to cash out they end up telling you that you don;t qualify.

2. I was in the same place as you years back until I weeded out all the sites that don't pay and started a blog to tell people which ones actually pay and ones that don't. You can visit it if you want just look in my sources section and read my blog. it will explain a lot.

3. No never pay to join these sites.

4. It depends on what kind of offers the sites have. The more sites you are signed up with the better chance you have to make that kind of money. My blog will tell you how much you can make.
